The Guildhall site originates in the 1400’s, with modifications over the years which have not prioritised access. The St Georges Guildhall and Creative Hub project aims to change that, creating spaces which are welcoming to all.

The main theatre is now closed for more archaeology. However, 29 King’s Street (the old Shakespeare Pub) next door to the theatre is open as a temporary exhibition and display space! Come and visit, our volunteers will be there to welcome you.
